Fat Burning Workout For Women Over 50!

Hi I’m Schellea and welcome to Fabulous
50’s today we’re going to do a five-minute fat burning workout on a
rebounder and if you don’t know about rebounders I’m going to tell you all
about them but what I can tell you is that rebounding every day is going to
change your life it really is and I’m going to also tell you why it’s so
amazingly important for women our age group to be doing that so if you’re over
50 and don’t know about rebounding you’ve got to get one and I’ll explain
to you as I go okay we’re started now when you start rebounding just start
slowly bouncing on your feet and just get your movement happening in your body
I learned about rebounding about ten years ago when I was doing a Tony
Robbins seminar and it was a week-long full of fasting juice fasting and
learning about health and it was amazing but during that time we were encouraged
to rebound every hour or so and the reason for that was to energize us so we
could learn more what rebounding does is it increases our energy and improves our
mood and the reason that is is because as we’re bouncing like this and going up
and down we’re invigorating every single cell in
our body and we’re flooding all of it ourselves with oxygen and what that does
is it lifts our mood brightens our day and does about a million other things
that are good for our body imagine there’s a line dividing our body and
we’re going to use our left hand in our right leg and our right hand in our left leg in different combinations because that’s going to help us really
really fire up our brain and keep us younger for longer and if you ever had a
child who had motor skill problems and got therapy when they were younger
or had trouble with reading and interpreting information these are the
kinds of exercises that were given to those children and if you think about it
what a better time in life for us to be doing these exercises so that we can
continue on with our motor skills being on fire and on point for the rest of our
lives so get yourself one of these and five minutes a day is all you need if
you do a lot of computer work get on one of these things for a few minutes and
you’re so much better your energy returns immediately okay slow down a
little bit right arm and our left leg and use our mind to think about what
we’re doing right leg left arm touch touch keep
going if you need a break just go slow like this you’re doing great
what you are doing is flooding yourself full of happy endorphins with all that
oxygen okay let’s move our legs into scissors put your arms out straight okay
just practice doing these right arm over left left arm over right this is
amazing the pelvic floor muscles as well slow down this is so good all these crossover
exercises are creating neural pathways between our left and right brain I
promise you you’re going to feel amazing two minutes after you finish this you’re
going to be full of energy so if you’re feeling down and feeling out and feeling
like you can’t get on with the day and you just a little bit lost this is going
to help better than any medication that you could possibly think of doing this
we’re burning fat it’s the best way to burn fat over the age of 50 for sure
because it’s non impact and it’s raising our mood if you’re going through
menopause daily everyday just do this you’re going to start feeling great promise
you okay slow down to a gentle jump try this arms and jumping okay back the
other way does it does shock your mind a little
bit thinking what should I do but it doesn’t matter no one’s watching just do
the best you can going down to a slower slow to jump we’re nearly there nearly
there that’s so good I feel amazing slow right
down just to a bounce now we’ve got to get our body back down to our heartbeat
that’s pre workout just go slow and as you gently stop bouncing we’ll do this
and we’ll just tap our organs and kidneys
thank them for getting rid of all those toxins for us while we’re just exercised
I guarantee you you’re going to feel amazing
and you’re going to be able to do all those jobs you’ve been putting off nothing better than doing this every day
oh please let me know if you’ve done this and you’re feeling amazing because
I really hope you are thank you so much for working out with me today I love
working out with you and please give a thumbs up if you enjoyed this workout
and share it with your friends thank you so much for watching and have a
beautiful day ya! you’re amazing well done keep going if you’ve got it in you
keep going and let me tell you when you’ve done
this once do it again put your favorite song on very very loud and just go with
it you’re going to love it it’s so much better with really loud music and your mood elevates 100 fold

  10. It helps our lymphatic system which in returns helps everything harmonize in our bodies. Helps slow metabolism and is a mood enhancer. I incorporate rebounding into my pilates reformer workout occasionally. β™‘β™‘

  11. Great idea! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘I am doing all kind of sports such as squash, swimming and yoga, but this is fantastic since it has such low impact on the joints. Thanks ❀❀❀ I will get one! Have a Happy Easter πŸ£πŸ£πŸ£πŸ’πŸ’πŸ’

  12. Once again Thank You for giving us what we need to do for our whole well being. from skin care, makeup, eating, workouts, positivity. I have a mini trampoline it seems I can do those excercises on it. Do you know it will be as good as a rebounder. Love Your channel, and I watched all your videos, but I get so excited I have been commenting lately on every video, it's out of my comfort zone. But I want you to know how much you are helping and inspiring all of us. πŸ’ž

  13. Love your videos. Used to use one and it was the only form of exercise I enjoyed…will be getting one again thanks to you. What brand are you using? Does it have metal springs or stretchy bands? Thank you for making your videos!

  14. Hello! I’m loving your channel so much! I’m 58 with severe fibro, 4 herniated discs from a bad car accident. I’m going to purchase one of these trampolines to further my daily exercise! Please, could you do a couple videos to change up the routine. Thank you so very much! Happy Easter!

  15. I injured my knee a few years ago so hi impact WOs aren’t for me any more…this might be a better option….thanks for this

  16. I used to use a rebounder all the time in my 20s (haha to the soundtrack of Flashdance πŸ˜†) – thank you so much for reminding me of this great way to exercise, especially now that I am in my late 50s and needing to find ways to increase heart rate but be kind to my joints – I am going out to purchase one ASAP xoxo

  17. I was just watching a YouTube article on cardiovascular disease and inactivity is a real issue. I sit for 12 hours a day at work and driving to work. I am sure I have a rebounder somewhere. After seeing your session I am sure I can fit a few minutes a day. I have been getting a lot of pain in my legs. Hope this helps. Thank you.

  18. so good for lymph drainage. ive had a very nice rebounder years which has become a "clothes horse" of sorts. need to clear it of and get back on

  20. I know someone who does this everyday and he is firm.,his arms are toned. I worried about my face sagging from jumping. I actually have one in the box, I need to set up .

  21. Super !! I love rebounding! Nice to workout together❀️❀️ Its the best thing to free your mind. Happy greetings from Italy πŸ˜€

  22. Hi Fabulous. wish to buy a rebounder. can u suggest me where can i find it?.I like ur video.is it also for belly fat?as im 50yrs.πŸ˜₯

  23. I use to use a rebounder when I was young they are great for lessening impact on your joints and it is fun it helped my son to

  24. Rebounding clears your lymphatic system and helps detox your body! Studies show that rebounding increases Lymphocyte activity, which is really important because the lymph system supports immune function.

I'm so thankful I found your channel! I've been "binge watching" your tips today! (54 years young and living in Texas.)

  25. Just received my rebounder, exercised along with you this morning, feeling great, I'm 65 and feel this is just right for me, thank you xxx

  26. I got one rebouder after wachting the video. After the first 5 minutes doing the excercises I notice how fit you are, I am lying killed on the couch, but feeling great.thank you

  27. Just got my rebounder. I have a bar on mine which i'm glad of as I'm not as coordinated as you are my sweet. I'm exercising with you daily. THANK YOU for your inspiration! You look and ARE amazing!

  28. Anyone experience bladder leaking when doing this? I don't have that issue — but if I bounce on a rebounder, I do.

  29. 63 years old here. Been looking at rebounders for a bit after seeing videos like this that show all of the benefits. Ordered one and it arrived about a week ago. Got one with a bar. Putting it together today and going to get started!!
Thanks for your videos and all the love and inspiration you bring to women!!! ❀️

  30. Thanks for your encouraging video. I have a Swem rebounder which uses elastic like springs instead of noisy metal springs. It’s made in Sweden. It’s very similar idea to a Bellicone, rebounder, but less than half the price which may be helpful for some. I love my rebounder too, but I needed your video to get back on it. 😊

  31. I have the cellercise one by David Hall. It has a bar also if you want to use it. 😊 love it. My hips and back feels so much better. Great for breathing deep. Enjoy.

  32. I find it hard to do exercise as my knee has arthritis but I went out and bought one of these today and just bounced along with you. I wasn’t jumping but bouncing but I figure it’s a start. Thanks.

  33. I used to do this for 40 minutes a day in the eighties – using light weights – I must get back into it!! Thank you for sharing!! Must get one stat!! Donna πŸ§šπŸ»β€β™€οΈβ€οΈπŸ™ donnadoesdresses.com

  34. Hi Beautiful lady. Can you tell me which brand on the rebounder you are using and the size of it please ??

  35. Love rebounders. Unfortunately, for those of us with any neck or back issues like degenerative disc disease, disc compression, stenosis, bulging discs, it's contraindicated. It further compresses the spine. Also, because of a big increase in circulation, bouncing/rebounding for somebody with heart issues such as congestive heart failure or something like that is too stressful on the heart. I'm happy to simulate it on the floor as a non-impact exercise. Or skip to another one of your terrific videos that is more appropriate for me. Also, love how you open some of your videos with the Qigong twisting move. That's called "Knocking on the Door of Life". how appropriate for your workouts!!

  36. I've had a rebounder for years but completely forgot about it. I'm a former 6 mile a day runner who battled breast cancer twice and now am early 60s with terrible arthritis. I've gained a lot of weight. I've found it difficult to get motivated. Glad I found your channel and getting out my rebounder

  37. Pleaaaase Pleaaaaaase Pleeease do more rebound videos for us. We all have 5 , 10 or 15 minutes a day. if you could do various short ones we could always do 1 or 2 after one another targeting different areas πŸ™‚ Thank you so much for sharing.

  38. Hi Schelea – very good video ! This motivates me to dig out my Lymphasizer Rebounder (from Aukland, Australia) and do this 5 min workout ! Thank you for the inspiration and education on why this rebounder is a good thing ! 🌹 ⭐🌞

  39. So many rebounders on the market. Any suggestion for size and company to order from? Thank you for suggestions

  40. Thanks so very much. I love this work out on my mini rebounder. I’m 71 years old and I do low impact almost every day for 15 minutes. It’s excellent for my knees also. I Love it and I Love you. β™₯οΈπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

  41. This is one of the first videos Of yours that I watched a week or so ago. You made it look easy, lol! I ordered a rebounder off of amazon. I did this last night for the 5 minutes and today for 10. It’s not as easy as it looks especially for someone out of shape, (and overweight😬)I! I FELT A TON BETTER!! My brain fog is gone for the rest of the evening even after 5 minutes! This is really a godsend. I am a breast cancer survivor and had 14 lymph nodes removed. So I have problems with lymph drainage. I think this is going to help immensely. I remember doing the rebounder back in the 80’s (my prime, lol)! I am so grateful!! 😘 Thank you!

  42. It’s great that your doing these videos for us over 50s, most exercise videos are aimed at younger people that don’t understand what it’s like to be of a certain age and some of the problems ageing can present! Your such an inspiration!

  43. I bought my rebounder shortly after you did this video, I though 5 min would be easy, HA! It is a good workout just for 5 min! I have now been trying to do this almost daily, Its still a challenge! But I really enjoy doing it and I just tell myself "its only 5 min, go do it" as that is doable which are most of your exercise routines, Ive been doing 2 of your arm vids this past 2 wks, need to try some of your others, thank you for doing this!

  44. Thanks for such an amazing idea! I got my rebounder and started doing your routine, after having hip replacing on both sides and being inactive for several years, this was quite challenging but fun! I got the support to hold at the beginning but as I get my balance back, I will remove it. Thanks again!

  45. I was feeling lazy this morning and needed something to motivate me to move. This was prefect. I broke a little sweat and I'm ready for the day. Thank you!!

  46. I’m loving this routine, thank you so much! Bought my rebounder and starting my day working out to your video, determined to get myself out of a negative mindset and of course to get fit, it’s day 3 of following you and feeling far more positive! Thank you!

  47. Thank you for sharing – great short focused workout. Do you have any more cross-over movement activities that you share somewhere online? Look forward to hearing from you.
