다이어트 실패원인 단백질 과섭취.. 단백질의 불편한 진실


Wassup Guys~ Hello, it’s Fitvely, Moon Seok Gi. Many people who are on a diet, eat less carbs and more proteins Do you think it’s true that proteins do not make you fat? If you look at products in the market, called diet snacks I often see that they are made of mainly protein such as chicken breast chips, protein bars, protein shakes, etc. But if you eat too much of the proteins, you can gain weight from it. What we call proteins are made of amino acids in a mass structure To be more exact, you can think of it as conjugated proteins. In order for our body to absorb proteins, whether muscles or cells proteins must be broken down into smaller units called amino acids, The process first happens in our small intestine, where an enzyme called protease breaks down the proteins into polypeptides, then further into each amino acids. Then these are sent to muscles and other cells where they are stored. If proteins are broken down as amino acid, they are sent to the liver. Then they are reformed into the protein structure that our bodies need. But if you take in too much proteins They will produce excess Nitrogen, which is not in carbs or fats. Our bodies cannot store excessive nitrogen, so our bodies go through a process called oxidative deamination where the amino group that has nitrogen is taken off of amino acids and released in urine. The left over carbons become alpha- ketoacid which go through gluconeogenesis to become glucose This process is what we call ketogenic diet. These ketogenic amino acids are metabolized in the liver as acetyl coA Which are used in Krebs cycle for producing energy or they are transformed as fats. In short, even if you eat protein, our bodies use proteins to make carbs and if you eat too much proteins, they can be stored as fats. When we eat excessive carbs, they are stored as fats right away, but when we eat excessive proteins, they are turned to glucose, and when there is an excessive amount of glucose, they are then stored as fats so people applied this knowledge to ketogenic diet which is that maintaining a low carb and high protein diet will reduce the chances of fat getting stored. But even with this method, if you consume too much proteins, they turn to fats and you will gain weight so thinking that ‘I won’t gain weight from eating proteins So I can drink protein shakes whenever I feel hungry, and eat protein bars, chicken breast chips, and a lot of eggs and I should be fine’ may lead you to fail in dieting. Please do not swear by proteins just because they are diet foods. I think it will be very helpful when you are on a diet, to realize through this video that consuming excessive amount of proteins just like other substances, will make you gain weight. There are so many things to go over about proteins, so I will take each topic and talk about them in a series from different point of views.   4. 오후 7시~8시 운동을 하고 저녁으로 6시쯤 삶은계란2개를 먹는데요ㅠㅠ 그냥 좀더 공복상태로 운동을 하고 운동 후에 계란을 먹는게 좋을까요? 늦은시간 먹는 자체가 왠지 안되는 느낌이라서요😭

    저 다이어트하는데 점심 저녁 닭 가슴살이랑 양상추 고구마 먹고 저녁운동 후에 닭가슴살하나 먹는ㄷㅔ 이정도면 적당한거죠???
